Powering Nuc11

At AIC recently a couple of you mentioned you could possibly power the NUC11 via the 12volt always on port, even though it specifies 19volts. Just confirming this and also this will not harm the PC ? If this does not work then I am stuck purchasing another power supply?? What do you recommend

It will not.
NUC works fine with voltages from 12 - 19V.
NUC will shut down if the voltage is lower than 11.7V so it is better to keep the voltage above 12V.
Our PSU has been tuned to output 12.6V for this specific reason. (and also to compensate any voltage drops in cable keeping the voltage a little bit above 12V)
