USB Settings following a power cycle

Are the USB Settings (which ports are on, which ports are off) remembered by the Control Hub if the Hub is powered off or there is a power cut ? or do the settings have to be reentered upon power up which would be a pain !
I saw in another posting that there is a query over the behaviour of Port 1 being possibly different from other ports ?
