Upgrade UPBv2 from Linux

Is there any way to upgrade the UPBv2 firmware from a Linux ? Worst case from a Mac ? I haven’t owned a Windows PC in 25 years.
If not possible (yet), is there at least a plan to enable that capability in the future ?

Yes , there is. I'm writting a script and shortly you'll be able to upgrade from Linux

Ahem.
Have you had a chance to write that tool ? I can code and know my way around decently - if you have specs and the firmware binary, I can give it a try too if you’d like.

I code, develop protocols for a living, deal with microelectronics and whatnot computer related. I can be useful for debugging, I think.
