Elevation, and Meridian and automatic meridian flip.

How do I reset Elevation and Meridian limits to their defaults?

What exactly does "Automatic Meridian Flip" do? Is it like some other mounts in that the next goto will trigger a meridian flip if possible, then it will go back to not forcing the flip for the next goto? Or is it something else?
