assembly problem with the mount above a SW tripod with extender [solved]

I just paurchased a Pegasus mount and I have an out of the box issue on how to attach the mount on a SW extender.

The SW extender has no acces to the internal knob , except if one dissassemble the upper flange of the extender .

Did somebody already manage to achieve this?
edit : no way ! ultimately possible with "moding" , but in this case it is necessary to either :
- dismount the upper flange of the extender (not really practical) to have access to the inside knob (moreover it is necessary to tackle with M12 thread length (out of the box H/W doesn't fit)
- or leave the extender attached to the mount.

Definitely not practical, except for an installation in a permanent location. Go for Pegasus pier extender instead.
