So my focus cube through the UPB will work and adjust the focus with the standalone control software but will connect but not move the focuser through Nina. Any thoughts? Multiple instances are not open.....

Which driver do you have at NINA? NINA native driver for UPBV2 will never work with the FocusCube.
You need to select the ASCOM driver for the FocusCube
