Having just acquired the Pegasus 3.1 USB 6 port hub I'm wondering how members have mounted this on their equipment. I'm also looking a acquiring the Pegasus Pocket Powerbox Micro in the near future.

Many thanks

I mounted my USB Control Hub on a PowerBox Advanced, using Pegasus brackets. Scroll to the bottom of https://pegasusastro.com/products/pocke ... x-advance/

You can power the hub from one of the Advanced power outputs (4 12 VDC, 1 adjustable VDC) with a DIY, very short cable.

I wish I could DIY USB cables for the same reason!

Currenty, the shortest cable we provide is half a meter. For this purpose it will require a very short cable. Maybe 10cm

L-Com has a wide variety of USB cables in standards lengths of 0.3 m, 0.5, 0.75, 2, 3, and 5m. The standard lengths are reasonable cost. Custom lengths are also available.

The filter engine gets lost at times, but the products are robust.

I just received my USB Hub Control today. In order to mount it to the Power Box Advance top plate (PEG-TOPPLATE-PPBA) using the center hole I needed a 5mm x 6mm or 7mm long screw. The threads in the Hub only extend about 2mm into the case. I found the screw I needed at my local Ace Hardware store.
