DMFC not connecting to kstars indi usb with mac

Hi

Hopefully someone has an answer! I’m using a DMFC with a Motor Focus kit v2. It all works when I connect via usb and Pegasus Software.

I run everything locally using Ekos on Kstars via usb on a 2020 intel macbook pro. Mount and cameras all connect fine, but DMFC not connecting.

Any help appreciated.
