Reverse Polarity Protection

Hi,
I accidentally reversed the polarity of the power going into my UPB and while the UPB reverse polarity protection did protect my equipment it now appears to be dead. The Unity Platform and the older UPB app can't detect it and the only power port that works is the always on port. Is this normal for the reverse polarity protection? Is there a way to bring it back to life, or is it effectively dead?
