Hello,

I have four USB2 devices controlled by my UPB - Synta mount, QSI camera, SX camera, Atik 414 camera. Of necessity, therefore, two of these devices are attached to USB3 sockets and they work fine. I also have an ASI 290 MC camera (USB3) and would like to use that on USB3.

Would I be right in assuming that the ASI camera will only work as a USB2 device because of the other USB2 devices plugged into USB3 outlets? If this is the case, could I solve this by extending the number of USB2 ports by adding a powered USB2 hub and plugging it into one of the USB2 ports on the UPB?

Hello, I have done this in the past and it worked fine, I used a Startech powered USB 2 hub...but it was with the UPB V1, but don’t think that should make a difference....
