USB backward compatible ?

Are the all 6 3.1 ports on the control hub all backwards compatible? Why is it that many on this forum are having connectivity issues and it's rare to see a resolution ?
Yes, all of them are USB2 and USB3 ports.
The UCH device works flawlessly with any USB device. Usually, any issue has to do with cable management or incompatibilities with USB devices that do not fully comply/pass USB standards.
