Which position preferred?

Post by maheitk »

In one document https://pegasusastro.com/wp-content/upl ... -guide.pdf you describe to put Scops in front of Falcon while in the product description (at the end) you show it behind Falcon https://pegasusastro.com/products/scops-oag/
What is the correct position? I assume in front of Falcon to avoid recalibration for guiding anytime rotation happened. But in this case: does Scops support rotator support in PHD2?

Behind rotator close to your main camera.
PHD can calculate the rotating angle by checking ASCOM drivers of mount and rotator.
