Motor Speed max

Hello,
I have a focus cube V2 that a use with a Celestron C9.
I use differents configurations with this telescope (hyperstar, reducer, ...) and it need to change the focus : for exemple, hyperstar is with the focus of 529000 and the reducer is with the focus of 190000.
When I change the configuration, it's very long because the motor speed is very slow.
The motor speed is the default : 400.
When I tried to increase this value, after 600, the motor is skating even if remove the belt.
I would like to know if it's normal or if there is a problem with my motor.
