Dear all,
I recently bought the upbv2, and I must say I was pretty amazed by the hardware, it packs more or less everything one needs for an amateur astronomy setup, and hugely reduces the cable management hassle.
I saw that, at least with indi driver (but I have heard that it was the same with ascom), the adjustable voltage output, which is a very useful feature, cannot be set below 3V. It is a bit unfortunate, as one cannot use this output as well as an on/off module. It would be particularly helpful in my case, as I power a set of 5V servomotor from this output, and unfortunately, they always consume some power.
Just wanted to know it this was an hardware limittion (hence to improvement to expect whatsoever) or if it was simply a software limitation, and there was potentially a mean to bypass it ?
Thank you in advance for your help
Disabling variable power output
Re: Disabling variable power output
Hello,
This is a hardware limitation as this port does not allow to turn OFF. It is always ON.
