Another NEMA 17 question

Hi,

I've just received my new Ultimate Powerbox V2. Everything works just fine, connected to my RPi4, EQ8, QSI683 and Lodestar AG.

Sadly I am not so successful in getting my NEMA17 focuser up and going. I'm connecting the stepper motor (NEMA 17HS13-0404S-PG27) to pin 3 to 6 on my UPBv2 motor connection. Coil A+ to pin3, Coil A- to pin 4, Coli B+ to pin 5 and Coli B- to pin6. I have measured the coils and checked the pairs with my multimeter.

The focuser is found under Pegasus UPB in INDI control panel and the focuser can be accessed via the focuser tab in EKOS. When trying to focus nothing much happens, except for a quite high sound from the motor, but not much movement at all. More like a vibration.

i have tried to change the max speed setting under Focuser in Indi Control Panel, no change in function.

As far as I understand, this motor takes a maximum of 0.4 amps per phase.

Any ideas about this behavior af my stepper motor?

Problem solved. The RJ45 connector on my motor was not working properly. That connector is now history, replaced by four traditional soldering joints.
After that, everything works fine.
