upbv3 doesn't power nuc at 19v

I am unable to power a NUC from the 12-24v port on my upbv3. I've tried two different nucs, neither one worked. I'm using an ordinary 55 x 25 male to male cable to connect.
What am I doing wrong? I have set that port to 19v, and the UI seems to verify that.

Probably the PSU you use is low in current.

You don't need to - The NUCs work down to 12 volts - I have had 5 NUCs over the years and they all work off my observatory power supply, which I set to 13.5V, which allows for voltage drops and guarantees minimum 12 volts. This has been with UPBV2s and 3s.
Just use the always on power output. You will need a short power cable with two slightly different plugs. The NUC socket has a fatter central pin.
