Falcon Rotator v2 won't connect to Unity

My new Falcon Rotator v2 won't connect to the Unity Platform. The software doesn't see it, although it sees my Powerbox just fine.
I've tried the following:
1. Downloaded the latest release of the Unity Platform on 8/26/24.
2. I also downloaded and installed the latest release of ASCOM drivers (6.6SP2) after unsuccessfully using the ones that are downloaded with the Unity Platform. Neither worked.
3. I tried switching cables, but no luck.
4 I used two different computers, but no luck.
5. I tried using NINA but it wouldn't connect
6. I tried changing the order of plugging in the USB and starting the Unity software but no luck.
7. As per the troubleshooting page at Pegasus Astro, I tried uninstalling the Unity platform, deleting the Pegasus astro folders, and reinstalling the Unity platform, but no luck.
8. One of the computers I tried had a Windows update today (8/26) and following a restart I went through the uninstall, folder delete, reinstall process again but no luck.
One of the computers I tried is running Windows 11 Home and is a desktop (AMD Ryzen 9 5900), and the other is a Surface Pro (about 2 years old) running Windows 10 Pro.
One thing of note is that when the rotator is plugged in, there is a WiFi hotspot available (I can't connect to it, of course) so it would seem that the USB cable is delivering power to the rotator (at least enough to have it generate a WiFi hotspot).
I'm afraid there are no logs to show since I haven't gotten to the point where the rotator is even recognized. There are no error messages either.
I've contacted Pegasus Astro support by email (haven't heard back yet). High Point Scientific (where I purchased it) said they can't help other than to take the unit back and to contact Pegasus.
I'm out of ideas and hope you have a suggestion or two for how I might try to connect the rotator to the Unity software. I've seen this same problem a few times, but I never seem to see a solution to it, so I thought I'd post it again.
