Amperage of Power Supply for PPA
Amperage of Power Supply for PPA
Yesterday, I purchased a Pegasus Astro Pocket Powerbox Advance. One of the factors in choosing it over the Micro product is its amperage rating, 12Amps @12VDC. I looked for an AC to DC power supply only to find that your company sells a 10Amp unit. How can the PPA output 12Amps when it receives only 10Amps from its power supply? Should I look elsewhere for a power supply that outputs at least 12Amps?
Re: Amperage of Power Supply for PPA
You do not have to get a power supply that outputs the exact max current the device supports.
The 10A PSU does the job perfectly fine for your setup.
It is very rare to exceed 10Amps with a single setup.
