Meteo crashes Unity on connect

I have a new Powerbox V3 and the Meteo Sensor. Every time I connect the Meteo to my system, either my PC or directly to the the powerbox, Unity crashes. In a system use configuration this renders this box worthless. This needs to be fixed or I need to refesh and reinstall the firmware but I cannot do that because every time I open Unity to update the firmware it crashes.

Same problem here, since latest updates the Meteo causes Unity to crash when loading device. I tried different cables, ports, and with everything unplugged, but still same issue. From peg.uiLog:

I'm seeing the same problem.
In SGP it looks good and all the data that the device provides is available.
