Hello
I am new to the forum, and I am having issues with making my NXY work with PHD2.
First, my gear is, apart from the mount, an RC250@f8, a 571C camera (yes it is over sampling by a lot!). The total load is about 20kg, so I added a 5kg CW, positioned roughly at 2/3 of the end of the bar.
When switched off, there is no sign of dec drift, so I guess it is properly balanced on the DEC axis.
Last night, I simply could not get PHD2 to guide (huge peaks on both axis, then PHD2 stopped).
Which parameters would you recommend for such a heavy load?
My guide cam pixels are 2.9 microns, the guide scope focal length is 260mm.
Thanks in advance for your support

Re: PHD2 parameters with heavy load
Same frustrating problem here, with a much modest load, RC8 and counter weight.
Polar alignment has been a breeze, with the polemaster.
´o way to manage to get phd2 to work, with severe problems of orthogonality reported by phd
Very frustrating.

Re: PHD2 parameters with heavy load
Did you see any issues with backlash being reported yet measured backlash looks good , I've just posted a new thread today in this group with details.
