Focuscube -autofocus fails with Nina after unity update

Hi,

I have been using the Focuscube with NiNA with zero issues until last week when I updated unity. Now the autofocus seems very unstable. Sometimes it just doesn’t progress, at other times it starts off fine but will then suddenly put in a point that is way off the curve. After failing, the focuser returned to its last known position, which was very close to ideal focus. I checked the mechanics and all looked fine (as expected, I haven’t touched it). The sky was clear.

The only thing that changed was the Unity update.

Has anyone else seen a problem with the latest driver? Is there a way to “roll-back” to the previous version?

Make sure that the coupler of tight enough. Pay attention to the grub screws of the coupler that bonds motor shaft and focuser shaft. If you feel backlash when you rotate the focuser's knob with your hand , then the coupler is not secured.
