Powering the PPA with a car jack that provides between 13.5 and 13.8v

Greetings,

I just ordered a PPA from my local dealer and may consider using the provided car type plug. My concern is that my portable battery is labeled 12v but provides roughly 13.5v. Furthermore, I have a 120-220v AC power supply that provides 13.8v DC using the car type socket.
Both devices may provide 6 amps which may be just enough for my current setup. I may consider buying a 12v 10a adapter in the near future but I was wondering if it is safe to provide 13.5-13.8v to the PPA in the meantime using any of the two power sources.
Any comments are welcome. Thanks

POWER INPUT
Controller can accept voltage ranges from DC 12V – 14.5V *.
>> We strongly recommend you use our certified “Pegasus Astro 12V power supply” <<
A 13.8V lead (or calcium/lead) battery is also recommended. Please use a power supply that can provide at least 6
Amps of current. For your observatory needs you might need up to 10 Amps of current.
Under no circumstance exceed DC 15.0V input as you will cause a severe damage
to the electronic board
