Hello Evans,

the last version solved the problem. After 12 hours uptime the memory footprint is constant below 32MB.

Also the re-occuring USB bus resets have vanished. They were very annoying.

Thanks a lot!

Cheers

I am having the same issues on two different computers with two different UPBv2 devices. I will try the test code on one of them and report back.

Tim.

could you please be explicit about the release version.

Currently here i got
Model: UPBv2 revA
Firmware revision: 1.5
Software Version: 1.4.6.0

And i see a clear memory leak during a night
usually start around 19M and ~600M at this end of the night

Did the 1.4.6.0 contain the fix ?

Note: I've not updated the firmware as far as the telescope is in a remote facility and the pegasus is mounted on the TOP of the OTA with a 5m USB active extender.
Connecting the observatory control PC directly is not easily possible. Is this firmware update mandatory to fix this mem leak ?

The firmware has nothing to do with the USB connecivity and how the USB Hub works.

Memory leak has been fully fixed in upcoming version 1.4.7. Memory should be less than 50Mb by the end of night.

Hi Evans,

I have made the update, but need some time to report back, since the weather is horrible at the moment (snow, cold and storm).

Thanks!
