Hi:

I recently ordered an ethernet cable to connect to my HSM. I am getting no movement when I use the focuser in the UNITY platform. When I use the HSM with the Optic controller it functions fine. Is there a way to see if the HSM is recognized by the software when it is connected?

A standard ethernet cable won't work with the HSM focuser as the wiring is different (I had the same issue). Pegasus has information on their website for you to rewire your existing cable or you can purchase the HSM-specific one
