USB 2 compatibilty of USB 3.1 ports in Ultimate Powerbox Gen 2

Hi,
I'm thinking about upgrading to the Ultimate Powerbox gen 2 .
I'm currenly a satisfied owner of the PBA gen 1 but a well known issue with that Powerbox is, that several QHY devices and e.g. my Celestron HC don't work with the port #1, which is USB 3.1 only.
So I can actually only use 3 out of 4 ports for my gear and I can't connect my newly bought QHY filterwheel due to the port #1 restriction mentioned above.
For this reason I need more USB ports.
Now my question is, if the 4 x USB 3.1 ports of the Ultimate Powerbox gen 2 have the same issue or are all 4 USB 3.1 ports backward compatible to USB 2.0, which is required for the QHY devices to be initially detected.
best regards
Bernd
