It seems to be a bug in UPBv2 firmware.
We'll have to check why it reports the port as a short-wire event and provide a fix in the next firmware release.

This should not happen. What happens when you click the button again? Can you operate the XMC eventually?

ASCOM does not accept negative values in position. If you move a positive value it will work.
About the switches driver, yes, it requires the main software to be open (it interacts with the software and exchange data)

Re: Dew Control
Please check below answers: > Currently I sit it on top of the powerbox micro? This is a bad choice as the PPB Micro's electronic board emmits heat.. and the sensor reports a wrong dew point temperature. Sensor should be placed away from the main device. You can place the sensor close to the telesco...

Re: Can the PPBA be monitored on iPad?
Check if ASIAIR has the INDI driver installed for the PPB Advance or any PPB.
Unfortunatelly the only way to control the PPBADV is via INDI.

Re: NEMA 17 stepper focus motor?
The stepper controller of UPBv2 provides 12V to motors.
I recommend this 12V rated motor: SKU: 17HS15-0404S.
The 3.6V will work (current draw should be fine for the UPBv2 controller) but as I haven't tested it I cannot recommend it

Re: NEMA 17 stepper focus motor?
CloudyNights reply is correct. Most motor can work with higher voltage and provide higher torque. Although, it is advised to better use a NEMA stepper motor that works with 12V in its specs. If you check http://stepperonline.com you can find a suitable one This is because the motor can draw more cur...

Unfortunatelly we cannot replicate it and we do not have other reports about this issue.
We'll check again why this might happen (how it is triggered)

One important note: USB Port1 does not support USB2 devices so the ZWO EAF will not be recognized there.

Re: UPBv2 / RoboFocus motor : stopped working
It is unlikely to be a problem with the EXT port.
If there is a problem it is with the sensor itself

Re: UPBv2 / RoboFocus motor : stopped working
The controller has a communication error and exchanged commands are corrupted.
Check your main USB cable. If you use a USB extender this might be the case.

Re: ASIAIR PRO connection to Pocket Powerbox Micro
Asi Air accepts 12V via a 2.1mm cable.
Pocket Powerbox Micro includes this 4 x 2.1 cables so you can easily use one of them to power on the AsiAir
