Re: Humidity sensor stuck at 99%
I am sorry to say that I have the same issue. The sensor worked alright for a while. Then got stuck at 99% I replaced it at cost. The new sensor showed the same behavior after a few weeks. When I take the UPBv2 in the house, it starts working again. My UPBv2 sits on my telescope in my dome and is ne...

Re: Ultimate Powerbox v2 Environmental Sensor
This behavior is not abnormal.
I have tried several sensors.
They indicate 99.99% of the time 99% humidity.
No matter were you put them on your telescope.

Re: Will the older "UPB_Install_v1_6_0.exe" run the Ultimate Powerbox v2?
Just install it.
It works. No need to use Unity for the UPBV2 only.
I used it for a long time with my UPBV2. Until Unity came along.
Because I have taken out the Indigo filter wheel from my setup, I returned to this reliable application

Re: Unity screen is blank
I think I owe you an update. Currently Unity is up and running on my new mini PC MeleQuieter3Q So far so good. I am carefully optimistic. 've set Windows updates to bugger off for 5 weeks. Installed the minimum amount of software I need to have NINA and Mountwizzard running. Rapidly created a window...

Re: Unity screen is blank
Thanks Pete. That's a copycat of the UPB V2. But the Powerbox itself is not the problem. That is a nice piece of kit. The UPB V2 works fine with the "obsolete" software. So no Unity required for that. But I recently acquired a Indigo filter wheel. That does require Unity. There is no separ...

Re: Unity screen is blank
I am setting up a Mele Quieter3Q from scratch, It only has windows 11 ascom and unity on it. Nothing else. It connects and runs the UPB and the Indigo. After the last updates from windows and Pegasus from Tuesday it stopped again recognizing both devices. There is no other software running (like the...

Re: Indigo filter wheel
You need to have Unity installed and running. In Unity your UPB and Indigo should be recognized and connected. If they are not available here, like with me after the last updates, you cannot use them. In NINA you select the Indigo wheel and then press the gear icon. Then Unity shows up with the filt...

Re: Unity screen is blank
I am having similar problems with the UPB V2 and Indigo filter wheel. They developed a few days ago. I had just installed a miniPC (Mele) in my dome. I connected up the old PC again (Dell Optilex I5), which has been up and running in that position before. To my big surprise the problem persisted on ...

Re: Indigo filter wheel control
I think I have it fixed. I suspect that the drive wheel wasn't properly aligned with the carousel. Being slightly skewed, it did not follow the correct path (groove in the carousel) and build up tension, that was released after the wheel was stopped, pushing the carousel to overshoot. Anyway, it see...

Re: UPBV2 using external environment sensor request
I opened up the sensors that I mentioned above. Despite what is written on them, they are NOT identical to the chip used on the UPB V2 Thank you once more Evans for warning. Still the issue remains that it appears to be not easy to do a reliable measurement of the humidity. bandicam 2022-12-18 17-46...

Re: UPBV2 using external environment sensor request
I have the sensor on the side of my telescope at the center of the dome. The telescope stands in a watertight dome. Scopedome There is no condensation. I usually have a air dryer running to keep humidity @75% Other sensors from my dome control, my mount (Astromi box) and 2 independent ones all agree...

Indigo filter wheel control
Since a few days my Indigo wheel plays up on me. When I go from after initialisation pos1 straight to pos 7 it runs 7 1/2 slots. Every other filter selection there after sits in-between filters. Unless I initialize again. I am advised to upgrade the firmware of the wheel, but nowhere I can find the ...

Re: UPBV2 using external environment sensor request
I am on my 2nd sensor as well. Still the humidity is too often way off. Most of the time it sits at 99% Whereas other sensors in my dome show values @ 80% I have also checked this using a well calibrated hair-type humidity gauge. This humidity measurement cannot be realistically used for the offered...
