Hi!

I just received the nyx and hooked it up. While slewing I can hear a "grinding" sound - especially notable while starting/stopping the slew but noticeable during the slew as well. Should I be concerned? I've seen this reported by others on CN as well.

Looking to mount an 8"/F5 ONTC (carbon fibre) to a NYX-101 using the following:

- Skywatcher Tripod EQ-6
- Skywatcher EQ-6 Extension Tube
- PegasusAstro Universal Tripod Adapter for NYX-101

Will my ota will stay clear from the tripod with the extension tube?
