Re: Tiny Text in Unity

Btw...I'm using a Beelink u59 w/ win 11. I connect to it with Remote Desktop. Since it is Remote Desktop , I can't see the resolution used. Note: NINA and every other app I use on this windows 11 machine has NO problem displaying text correctly - text is correctly sized in the UI, etc. Let me know w...

Re: Tiny Text in Unity

Still tiny tiny text here. I tried setting the pegUI -> properties -> High DPI Settings, and the text in the graphs is a bit more readable (layout is better) but the tabs, and control form text is even smaller. And this is with the "large" text option. I'm on version : 1.9.1825.32 Help! Ho...

Unity UI is not usable - how to fix this?

How do I fix this layout? Screenshot: https://imgur.com/aUK87Al Note the dashboard "indicators" are just not usable. I have no idea what the actual value is -- the graphic is blotting out the text! The old UPBV2 "dashboard" and it was just way better. I realize there's a desire t...

Adjusting "Sensor" orientation?

Is it possible to specify the angle of the Sensor as shown in the Falcon control panel? After assembling the new Falcon today, of course the angle of the camera doesn't match the 0 degree position on the Falcon. No problem, this is fine, as I can do a plate solve and then set the actual angle on the...

Re: NEMA 17 stepper focus motor?

Thx for the pointer to stepperonline. I'm reading the UPBv2 manual and see this on page 8 (https://pegasusastro.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/UPBv2_manual_v1.5.pdf) > Controller can only drive unipolar & bipolar stepper motors. It can support max 2.4 Amps (1.2 Amp per phase). I see the 1.2 amps...

NEMA 17 stepper focus motor?

I have a clement focuser with a robofocus (RF) motor. The RF motor is too slow for the clement. Here's a post of someone replacing the RF with a Nema 17 stepper. I'm thinking of doing the same. https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/406824-clement-focuser-on-c11-review/ Does anyone know if the pegasus U...

Re: UPBv2 Environmental Sensor causes comm errors

Just to close this out... the issue was the Environmental Sensor. I swapped it with another and the focuser started working... no more lost commands. However I swapped back the original, and it also started working. The thinking is there was a loose wire in the Sensor. I had opened it up, but everyt...

Re: UPBv2 / RoboFocus motor : stopped working

The issue appears to be something related to the "Environmental Sensor" which is plugged into the EXT port. If I unplug the Environmental Sensor, then the motor starts working again. I suspected it might be a USB issue.. I swapped cables and also went direct from the computer to the UPBv2 ...

UPBv2 Environmental Sensor causes comm errors

Edit: Previous subject was: "UPBv2 / RoboFocus motor : stopped working" Edit: I've since discovered the Environmental Sensor is causing the UBPv2 apparently to "fall behind" with the command protocol. I have a Robofocus motor attached to the UPBv2. It was working a few weeks ago....

Re: UPBv2 - App does not start / doesnt get connected

For my issue, somehow the COM4 became "disabled".

I guess the Pegasus UPBv2 is using Com4.

Re: Dew heater audio noise

It turns out my dew heater straps are from Kendrick. "Dew Remover" is the brand. I have three... - A really long one for an SCT. - One that fits the 5" refractor just about right. - A really really short one. It turns out only the really long one is making noise. I switched to the med...

Re: UPBv2 - App does not start / doesnt get connected

Was this issue resolved? I'm also experiencing "hang" at app startup. The UPBv2 is "on". I can start the app, but when I click "connect" the app hangs immediately. I have to kill it with task manager. I just installed the keyspan rs232-ftdi-USB driver for another device...

Re: Dew heater audio noise

ok.. thx for the info. I have two other dew heaters (same brand). The one I'm using fits the telescope.

However I can test the other heaters once I get a chance. (One is longer, the other is shorter, than the one currently on the telescope.)

Dew heater audio noise

I just got a Pegasus Ultimate Power Box v2. I'm powering PUPBv2 with a 30amp Astron power supply. A very clean linear power supply. I'm using the UPBv2 (at the moment) to power, and supply USB, for a QHY camera, and run a single dew heater strap. One thing I noticed was a lot of audio noise coming f...
