Re: How to make dew heaters stay on in standalone mode

Sure these are retrieved on boot of the device, but how does one configure the unit to for example: Always boot to 50% ON. I only mentioned "aggressiveness" because I think the "thought process" of the controller for auto-dew is a mystery and I was hopeful that "full agressi...

Re: How to make dew heaters stay on in standalone mode

I too would like to know if this feature is possible on a PB Micro. If I tell the device to use 'full on' or any other setting for dew heater output it is reset upon a reboot. It seems the only config that is stored is either auto-dew off with no dew-heater output, or auto-dew on letting the on-boar...

Re: Power consumption of PB Micro

New update: I put some dew heaters on the device while measuring actual current consumption. 1. When nothing is connected current consumption is 0.05A while the device reports 0.5A 2. When two heaters are turned to full-on current consumption is 1.3A while the device reports 1.8A I believe this prov...

Re: Power consumption of PB Micro

I was able to power the box up using my multimeter in between to measure current consumption. It turns out, although the software reports a current draw of 0.5A my multimeter is reporting 0.05A. I cannot tell you if this is a poor calibration in the current sensor or if this is a factor of 10 and we...

Re: Power consumption of PB Micro

Hi, I just tried with my wife's Windows 10 machine. It reads the device correctly in that it is a Powerbox Micro. It also lets me adjust the adjustable voltage. However, with the same situation as detailed in this post, it still reports a current draw of 0.4A to 0.5A, with all outputs turned off and...

Re: Power consumption of PB Micro

Here are the screenshots:

BTW: I'm also the one who posted about the inability to adjust the adjustable DC output (since the sw does not detect the unit model): could this be related?

Power consumption of PB Micro

Hi, I notice that when the powerbox micro is powered (and connected to USB) constantly draws (or reports that it draws) 600mA. Even without anything connected to the DC outputs, without the temp/humidity sensor plugged in and with all 12V switched off and dew controls switched off: 600mA Is this a r...

Re: Powerbox Micro: Missing control features in SW

By the way, where are the ASCOM drivers located for the Powerbox MICRO? I see on the pagasus site only ASCOM for other devices (but none are listed for the Micro).

Re: Powerbox Micro: Missing control features in SW

Isn't the model purely read from the module via a serial command? I'd be willing to glance at your software and help debug (I'm a sw engineer). I'm not sure what in the framework you are relying on for parsing information but since a lot of what's being read IS working I think this bug may be rather...

Hi,

Attached is a screenshot of the info tab.

Also, I'm running this on Windows 7 Professional.

Powerbox Micro: Missing control features in SW

Hi, Testing out my brand new Powerbox Micro with the software available from Pegasusastro.com. When I run the Pocket Powerbox software (https://pegasusastro.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/PPB-Install_v1_16.exe) I cannot find any way to adjust the adjustable voltage output. It is labeled 'DSLR Output...
