I am relieved. Great support again. Evans brought the mount back to normal operation using an Anydesk session.
Worked like a charm, thank you so much.

Stuck again in hardware limit sensor
Hi all, I am to dumb to read the instructions and when I do I am to dumb to understand them. Yesterday I swapped the mount to AltAz but had the base facing North instead of East as per the instructions. I observed the sun, which worked quite well. At nightfall I wanted to do a 2-star align but the m...

Hi,
are you sure, you do not have enabled some power saving setting in Windows that shuts down the USB port?

Re: DMFC and Unity not working with ASCOM
Roger, glad you got it working in the end. May I ask, how well APT is working with the DMFC? On my scope I have a DC motor driven by JMI Smartfocus which works quite well. But after running into trouble with autofocus in Nina I tried the DMFC. The JMI uses an encoder which is quite nice for an absol...

Predefined positions
Hi,
yesterday I tried the predefined postitions for the first time to see where the scope points. With level north and level south I had expeced the exact opposite behaviour. With the first the scope points south and vice versa. The 3D view show the same.

Re: New Firmware Warning
Obviously I had no KMS whatever installed on my PC :D Update worked easy. But I panicked a little bit yesterday since the Uranus for whatever reason had run out of battery despite only being with me for just a month or so. Neither charging nor connecting to a PC worked with a USB C to C cable and PD...

Re: First severe problem
Carles, you made my day :D It's up and running again. With USB connection to PC right after connection I hit Sidereal and then Reset Home. After that it moved again into the East direction, whew :) I needed another iteration of Reset Home to reach the NCP, but now all is fine again. But I don't thin...

Re: First severe problem
Thanks, but no. The mount does track and also move in the West direction. It won’t reverse direction, so the belt can’t be the problem.

First severe problem
Hi all, last night was supposed to be clear all along so I set up the mount and complete gear and left ouside to wait until I returned later that night. Unfortunately there was some little rain shower and the temps dropped to freezing but not much under 0°C. I had already everything powered up for t...

Hi folks, it would be nice to have a couple of pre-defined park positions: - Zenith for taking flats - anything with the scope horizontal, very nice for closing an observatory roof and to park the scope if outside so nothing can easily drop on the lens (or mirror) I know, I can set another park posi...

Re: Can’t connect to home WiFi
Have you checked the log on your Fritz Box? For me it worked fine under Win 11, although I did not control that computer remotely. My newer Fritz Box runs both 2.5 and 5 but it worked anyway.

Re: Polarity of the output power?
It is in the manual, page 35. If still unsure, use a voltmeter, I always check my cables before using anyway, so no big deal.

Hi,
same here. When connected through USB Firmware update manager showed up but of course did not work. Connected only by WLAN no sign of update manager. I plugged in USB while connected through WLAN, that did the trick.

To whom it may concern:
PPBA Rev. A
I am not able to connect a QHY 294 Mono or a QHY5III 462 to port 1. Unplugging, replugging, resetting the controller, unplugging it, nothing works. A ZWO 224 connects without issues

Any news on this?
I second the opinion about security concerns when running Software with admin rights.
Thanks a lot.

eXternal Motor Controller on INDI?
Hello,
while my PPBA is supported well under INDI, how do I set up the eXternal Motor Controller? There is no separate driver and there are no controls in the PPBA driver.
I have not asked in the INDI forum so far. Who makes the Pegasus drivers?
Thanks a lot.
Cheers

Re: Pocket Powerbox Advance - USB Port 1 does not work
Rüdiger, I checked this for the 2600MC too but found the following: The camera is not recognized when I unplug and replug it during a session. I need to unplug the PPBA in order to get the camera back. Can you maybe check this on your 6200? Would be interested in your result. Thanks a lot. Best rega...
