so an update, i installed the legacy UPBv2 software (the one that is grayed out in the software) and I can get it to connect in the legacy software, but the UNITY software does nothing. Still cant get it to do anything more than display a splash screen. Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello. Looks like the recommended p/n for the focus cable for a Starlight Posi Drive is PEG-CMOT-HSM, which is the same as the one for the Hand Stepper Motor HSM. So if I am making my own cable, I can use the pinout diagram for the Starlight HSM20/30/35 - RJ45, correct? Thanks.
